2021 Graphic Design Senior Showcase

The Graphic Design Senior Showcase website features the work of our graduating seniors, who faced the unimaginable challenge of finishing their degrees during a global pandemic. Cal Poly courses were taught entirely virtually from March 2020 through June 2021. Faculty and students critiqued, collaborated, and communicated via Zoom, Canvas, Miro, Adobe XD, Slack, Discord, and Twitch. We made it up as we went along, worked through technical glitches, and learned new ways of working. Guest speakers joined our classes from all over the country. The senior portfolio review took place in a modified format, with 34 Art and Design alumni generously volunteering their time to provide feedback on student work. Our Cal Poly graphic design network is wide-reaching and incredibly supportive; thank you, alumni!

Congratulations, class of 2021! The Department of Art and Design and the Graphic Design faculty are so proud of you. We can’t wait to see the wonderful things that you accomplish in the future.
