Art Gallery Hosts Cal Poly Artists and Faculty Triennial Exhibition

Faculty members from Cal Poly’s Art & Design Department will display their artwork for four weeks at Cal Poly’s University Art Gallery, culminating in a special closing event on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 5 p.m.

This exhibition takes place once every three years and showcases new work from the practicing artists at Cal Poly. A wide range of work is on display—from graphic design, water and oil painting, published work, and drawing and sculpture in various media to photography and video.

“This exhibition represents the depth and breath of Cal Poly’s Art & Design Department,” said Garet Zook, Art Gallery Coordinator and curator of the show. "It's a great opportunity for our new students to see work from the artists with whom they will be studying.”

For art appreciators throughout the central coast, this exhibition presents the best opportunity to see some of the finest artists in the community in one place.
