We are seeking an instructor to teach Design 1 at our Lompoc campus., Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, January 25 – May 25, 2016.
Qualifications: MA in Art or BA in Graphics
Design 1 is a course dealing with the basic visual concepts which all art and design media have in common. Knowledge of these concepts is considered essential for effective work in any area of the visual arts.
This class is comprised of sections dealing with the basic principles of composition and color theory. Students complete a portfolio of visual assignments, which illustrate these principles.
