Associate Professor Martinez attends National AIGA Design Conference

Associate Professor Charmaine Martinez recently attended the National AIGA Design Conference: Head, Heart, Hand in Minneapolis.

The conference explored the three core elements of contemporary design practice:

• Head - Design Thinking and Strategy
• Heart - Design for Social Impact
• Hand - Design as Craft

 

While at the conference, Professor Martinez participated in design educator sessions and moderated conversations on: the craft of design in the context of design education, converging classroom and online learning, and designing a healthier future for children.
