Professor Dove's painting at UCSB

An exhibition of Associate Professor Daniel Dove's recent paintings runs from Sept 30 to October 23, 2013 in the Gallery of the College of Creative Studies at the University of California Santa Barbara.  In the exhibit, Dove continues his exploration of the tension between abstraction and representation, and illusion and space with his explorations of visual culture and irony.

Alum wins Baseball Hall of Fame design competition

Baseball hall of fame design award

Cassie McFarland (Class of '08) won the U.S. Mint Baseball Coin Design Competition.

McFarland’s baseball glove design was one of 178 entries submitted between April 11 and May 11.  Her design, along with her initials, will appear on the obverses of the coins in National Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coin Program, scheduled for release in early 2014.
